How do I order a custom vanity from Vanify?

You order through the Vanify Builder. Choose your vanity type and overall width, set dimensions and wall position, then select modules, finish, hardware, benchtop and basins. Pricing updates as you go. When the specification is complete you confirm the order and pay through Stripe. We then move it into production and confirm your dispatch date.

How long does the whole process take?

Accepted Answer

Configuring a vanity in the Vanify Builder takes a few minutes. Once you confirm and pay, manufacturing runs to a 3-7 week lead time from order confirmation, depending on the finishes you choose. We confirm a production date at order, so you can schedule the rest of the bathroom around a fixed timeline rather than an open-ended ETA.

Do I need an account to order?

Accepted Answer

No. There are no logins in the current process. You build a specification, confirm it, and pay. Your order confirmation includes a tracking link you can save and revisit without a password.

Can I save a configuration and come back to it?

Accepted Answer

Your configuration is held in the Vanify Builder while you work. You can also download a summary of your specification as a PDF. If you start checkout and stop, you can return to the Vanify Builder to finish the order.

Question 5

Can I change my order after I have placed it?

Accepted Answer

Production begins within 48 hours of payment. Before production starts we can usually accommodate changes — contact us with your order reference as soon as possible. Once a custom order is in production it cannot be changed or cancelled for change of mind. This does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law for defects or non-conformity.

How do I pay?

Payment is taken at checkout through Stripe, in full, before production. Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link are supported. GST is calculated and shown at checkout. Your card details are handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store them.

Question 7

Will I get a tax invoice?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can add an ABN at checkout for a tax invoice, and Stripe issues a payment receipt by email. GST is itemised on the invoice.

Can I speak to someone before ordering?

Yes. Use the contact form or email hello@vanify.com.au with any questions about specification, compatibility or delivery. If you have already started a configuration, include your reference so we can see exactly what you are building.

Can I order a vanity in non-standard dimensions?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Widths run from 500 to 3600 mm and you set the exact dimension — we build to it. That is the point of the system: you do not redesign the bathroom around stock sizes. Height and depth are set within the ranges supported for your chosen vanity type.

What is the widest vanity you can make?

Accepted Answer

The Vanify Builder supports overall widths up to 3600 mm. Wider runs are achieved with multiple modules across the carcass. If your design needs something beyond the Vanify Builder’s range, contact us and we will advise.

Question 11

What height should a floating vanity be?

Accepted Answer

Floating vanities are typically mounted with the cabinet base between 200 and 600 mm off the floor, depending on the look and the basin. Floor-mounted vanities sit between roughly 700 and 850 mm tall. The Vanify Builder enforces the valid range for the type you choose.

Can the vanity run wall to wall?

Yes. Select the wall-to-wall position and the Vanify Builder accounts for end clearances and skips the end-finish and overhang steps that only apply to exposed ends. This is common in alcoves and between two walls.

How do I measure for a custom vanity?

Accepted Answer

Measure the available width at the height the vanity will sit, the depth from the wall, and note any obstructions — skirting, pipes, windows, door swings. Order to the finished cabinet width you want. If you are unsure, send your measurements through the contact form and we will sanity-check them.

Do you make wall-hung and floor-standing in the same range?

Yes. Floating, semi-floating, semi-recessed and floor-mounted are all configurable, along with matching shaving cabinets. The configuration options adapt to the type you select.

What is the difference between laminate and stone benchtops?

Accepted Answer

Laminate benchtops are a 33 mm board finished in a decorative laminate, available square-edged or postformed — durable, lighter and lower cost. Stone benchtops are engineered or natural stone in 20, 40 or 60 mm profiles across standard, mid and premium ranges — heavier, more heat- and scratch-resistant, and a higher-end finish. The Vanify Builder prices both as you select.

Can a floating vanity support a stone benchtop?

Yes. Floating vanities are engineered and fixed to carry stone, including thicker profiles, when mounted into solid framing or appropriate wall fixings. The Vanify Builder lets you pair a floating cabinet with a stone benchtop; we build the carcass to suit the load.

What door and drawer finishes are available?

Doors and drawers come in melamine (solid or grained, with vertical or horizontal grain direction), vinyl wrap, and 2-pac satin paint. Carcass colours are selectable separately. See the Materials page for the full range and the compatibility notes.

Question 18

What is 2-pac and why does it cost more?

Accepted Answer

2-pac is a two-part polyurethane paint sprayed and baked to a smooth, durable satin finish. It costs more than melamine or vinyl wrap because it is a multi-coat sprayed process with a hard, seamless result that can be colour-matched. It suits high-end and fully custom colour work.

Which handles can I choose?

Accepted Answer

Options are box fingerpull, bevelled fingerpull, a selection of catalogue handles, or none / your own supply. Fingerpull profiles give a handleless look. Bevelled fingerpull is not compatible with vinyl-wrap doors — the Vanify Builder and the Materials compatibility table both flag this so there are no surprises.

Why can’t I have bevelled fingerpull with vinyl wrap?

Accepted Answer

The bevelled fingerpull profile requires a machined edge that the vinyl-wrap process cannot cover cleanly, so the two are not offered together. Choose box fingerpull or a catalogue handle with vinyl wrap, or move to melamine or 2-pac for a bevelled fingerpull. We surface this rather than letting you specify something we can’t build well.

What basin options are there?

You choose the basin model, its position along the benchtop, and the tap-hole position — 10, 12 or 2 o’clock, or none if the tap is wall-mounted. The Vanify Builder handles the cutout. For multi-basin layouts you set each position.

Are your materials suitable for a bathroom environment?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All finishes are specified for bathroom use — moisture-resistant board, sealed edges, and hardware rated for the environment. Care instructions and the manufacturer warranty are on the Warranty page.

What is the lead time for a custom vanity in Melbourne?

3-7 weeks from order confirmation, depending on the finishes selected. Because every vanity is built to your specification, we confirm a production date when you order so you can schedule installation around a fixed window rather than chasing an ETA.

Do you deliver to my site?

Yes. We deliver across Melbourne metro with no metro delivery surcharge. You provide the delivery address and suburb at checkout. For builder projects we can schedule delivery around your build stage so the vanity arrives when the site is ready for it.

What affects the lead time?

The main factors are finish and benchtop choice (stone and 2-pac involve additional processes) and current production volume. The 3-7 week range accounts for these. We confirm your date at order; if anything would move it, we tell you.

Do you deliver outside Melbourne?

Phase 1 focuses on Melbourne metro. If you are outside metro Melbourne, contact us with your location and we will let you know whether we can arrange freight.

What should be ready on site before delivery?

For a smooth install, have the wall framing or fixings, plumbing rough-in and floor finished to the point the vanity can be set and connected. For floating vanities, confirm solid fixing points at the mounting height. Our delivery is to site; installation is arranged by your trades.

Yes, within reason. Tell us your preferred delivery window at order or contact us with your reference, and we will schedule dispatch to match your build program.

Every customer currently orders through the Vanify Builder at the same price — there is no separate trade tier in Phase 1. We are a manufacturer selling direct, so the price already reflects no middleman margin. For multi-unit projects, get in touch to discuss volume directly.

Yes. We deliver to site across Melbourne metro and can align dispatch with your program. Give us the delivery window when you order, or reference your order with us, and we will schedule to suit.

Yes. Lock the specification once and we can repeat it across units in a project for consistency. Reference your original order and we will reproduce it.

Do you install the vanity?

We manufacture and deliver to site. Installation and plumbing connection are carried out by your trades. We supply the vanity built to specification and ready to set; your installer mounts and connects it.

What warranty do you provide?

Vanify vanities are covered by a manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Full terms, exclusions and care instructions are on the Warranty page. This is in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

How do I care for the finishes?

Wipe surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent; avoid abrasive pads and harsh solvents, and wipe up standing water on benchtop joints. Specific care notes for each finish are on the Warranty page.

Contact us with your order reference and photos. Genuine defects in materials or workmanship are covered under the manufacturer warranty and Australian Consumer Law, and we will repair or replace as appropriate.

Price is built up from your specification — the linear width of the cabinet, the modules you choose, the finish, the hardware, the benchtop material and profile, and basin cutouts. The Vanify Builder shows an indicative total as you configure. The final price is re-validated on our server before payment so you always pay for exactly what you specified.

The Vanify Builder shows indicative pricing as you configure. At checkout we recompute the price from your finished specification on the server and show the final total including GST before you pay. We never simply trust a price calculated in the browser.

GST is calculated and shown at checkout via Stripe Tax, added on top of the ex-GST price, and itemised on your invoice.

Do I pay a deposit or the full amount?

Full payment is taken at checkout before production begins. This reflects that every vanity is built to order. The terms you accept at checkout cover the no-change-of-mind position for custom builds once production has started.
